The Mood Disorders Association of Manitoba is a self-help organization dedicated to providing support, education and advocacy for those living with mental health illnesses.
We at Mood Disorders Association of Manitoba want you to know we are here for you.
It is normal to feel unsettled and anxious at times like this, but just know that the best minds in the world are working to solve this pandemic and things will get better.
What we have learned from our elders who have lived through wars and pandemics before:
- You are stronger than you think, and more resilient than you know.
- You are loved more than you will ever understand, and you will get through this.
- We will all get through this together and hope is our strength.
We at Mood Disorders have strengths to share:
- 365 days a year we are here to help you.
- Our peer support lines are open 7 days a week 10AM to 9PM Monday to Friday, and 10AM to 4 PM on weekends.
If you need our help we are here for you. And if you have strengths to share, please reach out to someone with a cheerful greeting and let them know you care.
We are grateful for all the help and support we receive, and donations of any size, are always welcome as we look for ways to improve our services to help others.
During Covid-19, we are still here for you

The Mood Disorders Association of Manitoba offices are located on original lands of the Anishinaabe, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota, and Dene Peoples, and on the homeland of the Métis Nation. We respect the Treaties that were made on these territories. We acknowledge the harms and mistakes of the past, and we dedicate ourselves to move forward in partnership with Indigenous communities in a spirit of reconciliation and collaboration.
